today i sat on a cactus. AND i lost my toothpick privileges after dumping a box full in the field. maybe my boss should rethink that performance evaluation...
toothpicks are used for marking new seedlings. it's too confusing to flag them all and most die anyway so we use the toothpicks...different colors and shapes!
